| My Aunt (now dead) babysat Bruce Boxleitner when he was a child. She has friends who are related to him and knows his family.
A high school buddy of my Dad has a son who is a pilot and flies jets for a company that routinely flies celebrities & CEO's around. He has flown Jeff Gordan and Morgan Freeman, among others. Jeff Gordan is a pompous prick in his opinion. Before Gordan would board the plane, his "people" ordered him (pilot friend) to never bring up the topic of racing, and would be better off to not even bother talking to him at all. Gordan apparently treats his handlers like crap too. Freeman is a great guy. Could never tell that he is a famous movie star. Sat in the cockpit through the flight and discussed many different topics of interest to both of them. Upon landing, thanked him for such a smooth flight and offered an autograph and picture taken with him. | |
