In 15 years of using a bank I can only recall them making a mistake once, and that was transposing numbers, shorting me $50 on a deposit.
I will spend about 30 minutes max trying to figure out a discrepancy if it is only a couple dollars or less. If I can't find it I adjust my balance and get on with life.
