s nd | Make sure the total on the bottom of the check is the same as the amount you wrote the check for. Cellphone company withdrew twice the amount I wrote the check for as I was late paying the previous month. They must post their own checks for them to be able to do that. I finally figured, after spending more f__ time looking for that mistake, that I had gotten the bank. Scarey to think a company can post the number on the bottom for whatever they want whatever the total is on the top. Slim chance yours is the same, but should check. | |
