You have the rest of your life ahead of you to work.

Don't burn yourself out.

Enjoy your life as a kid yet.

Also, if you know how to pencil it out. That is good. It's the ones that cannot pencil it out and fully rely on a calculator that I really cringe. Or........ won't even try to work it out with a pencil because its "to hard" and run for the calculator.

I was helping my ex wifes youngest last nite (1st grader) with simple arithmatic while waiting for my youngest to get her things rounded up to leave. We got to 6+6= and she started to run for a calculator. Her mom knew what she was up to and stopped her before she got away from the table.

I remember a time when they harped on us in school not to use our fingers. Now we are harping they should at least be able to pencil it out.

Will the next generation even know what a pencil is?
