Ironic you mention that. On most nights, I help my 8th grade daughter understand what her algebra teacher failed to teach her at school. To be fair, I am not sure how much it is her teacher not doing her job or my daughter not paying attention. I am starting to think it is the former, as her phone has been ringing off the hook from her classmates getting help on the same assignment. It is refreshing to hear her 'teaching' them, rather than just giving them the answers (I never give her the answers - I try to lead her in the direction to figure it out herself). I wish we had more time (farming + full time job) so we could homeschool. I am certain that we could do a much better job in 3 hrs of home school than the 7 hrs they consume at school. Makes one wonder if we should make the time.....
