Thanks for the link. It basically confirmed and added to the information I read in a news article. I'm still confused though. If CTS supplied all the NA built cars (I may be mistaken here) why did dealers need to look under the dash to determine which vehicles needed to be held back? All they should have had to do was look at the s/n plate to determine factory of origin.

Also interesting is there is supposedly a new design ready to install. As one commenter in the link said, how did that happen so quickly? It certainly seems this one will take some time to fix all affected vehicles. 2.5M vehicles plus whatever factory production happens during this period (think of combining while filling the grain cart), and the factory can only build 2M of these parts in a year. That would mean 18 to 24 months to build enough kits.
