Furthermore, I can't believe the nerve of someone who would choose to make a big deal out of someone else wearing a hat in a public place.  

For the record, I seldom wear a hat, but I see no reason it's any of anyone else's business if I do or not, nor is it any of my business if someone else does. 

This is all quite funny considering that health regulations (at least in this state) require head covering for anyone who is entering the food preparation area in a resturant.
