Subject: Position and Hold vs. Line up and wait.

Talk about how things and geography.

Pilots that depart right behind another aircraft taking off, in the US get the phraseology "position and hold" meaning they are cleared onto the runway but cant take off yet. The ICAO (which sets international rules for this stuff) phraseology is "line up and wait". Supposedly the FAA is wanting to switch to line up and wait and this has pilots raising holy hell with it.

By the way, always cut wheat, swath of windrow alfalfa, dig beets, picked corn for earlage or grain, cut corn for silage.
