Great ideas!!  Don't know if we will have everythng done in time for the first-time tax credit, but if we do, I plan to enroll.

What other ideas do all of you have for building a new home.  Such as things you did and wouldn't do again or love.  I've had two people tell me to make sure we put in an in-house vacuum system.  It costs a little more up front, but it sure beats dragging a sweeper everywhere.
