Successful connectivity is successful connectivity, whether wireless or wired, I imagine, except for speed anyhow. Since you are showing connected via the wireless device, I doubt that you will see anything different, but it's worth trying. Sometimes it's a little easier to configure things through a wired connection rather than wireless.
If the USB computer internet connection settings are set to "always dial", change that to "Never dial". Again not too sure how much difference, if any, that will make.
As for full networking capability, you have set up a network. There is a wizard available to do that.
There may some other configurations you have to do with the USB device to make it work that you haven't done. Double check that. It may be connected, yes, but either it or your computer may not "know" to look to that device for the internet or for a network. |
