Because reminiscing of the good ol days when you could trade a dozen chickens a goat and a fresh heifer for 40 acres isn’t annoying at all? I’d much rather the younger generation learn from experience by either listening or watching than how, back in my day i lost this here finger from frost bite because I had to walk up hill both ways to school in below zero temps, and using my coat and mittens to keep overpriced eggs from freezing.
My my, aren’t you full of self-importance. Ever occur to you that if you disappeared from farming tomorrow, your ground would still be farmed just fine without you.
All of us are just a spec in time and are easily replaced.
