I didn't mean to generalize all farmers. Majority handle things just fine. Most w2 earners do too. I think some % of people are prone to overspending, without regard to their job. I've had bankers who did not handle their own consumer debt well.
That sounds like a guy I used to work with. Everything he had was financed, his wife was a personal banker with spending habits just as bad. He could spin his logic to make anything make sense to him.
He had to have a John Deere lawn mower (lived in town small lot). So he went to go get the smallest lawn tractor JD made, on credit of course. Claimed he was thinking about starting a lawn care business (which I called Cutting Corners lawncare). How many commercial lawncare businesses use a 38" cut JD lawn tractor? |
