Central Virginia | Does your son farm with you? What does he think about his sister who isn't involved with the business inheriting business assets? Could you farm at your current scale by yourself without his help? Does his involvement in the business create additional income for you so you don't have to sell assets or rent out owned land to have enough income to live at your current standard? Not picking on you, just food for thought. Many on here complain about the other farms in the area that can buy more expensive land. The best way to be in a position to do that is not expecting every generation to buy the same land over again. | |
