SE IL | I was trying to address the OPs question. Using companies compensation and dividing by farmer subsidy you can get this (or at least close?). Kind of hard to mail down exact numbers but in 2021 it appears total subsidies around 6.5 billion, and company compensation around 4.5 billion. This means that in 2021. Roughly 75% of the government subsidy went to paying the insurance companies. Would be nice to see a chart just like the OP asked for but this is what I deduct from it. | |
