At the start of the call, don't ask if I will hold on for a 'short survey' at the end of the call.

I have lost hope I can verify my id once per call. But calling the doctor office or heath insurance provider asking 3-4 times is quite over the top.

Amazon is very interested in quality of its products but never asks about its order system process.

Never, ever offer a promo code at the beginning of a call when it is out of date or otherwise cancelled.

Businesses can prove that 'your call is very important to us' by having adequate customer support staff to answer calls and keeping hold time to a minimum. However, thanking me for my patience is welcome.

Estimated hold times are appreciated. To be genuinely useful, the estimate needs to be within +-30-60 seconds of actual service.
