My freezer beef side hustle isn't a model to follow. Pricing is live weight x estimated auction price, buyer pays processing. Kind of a friends and family deal.
I market all of my fats through the local sale barn. We're fortunate to have a good auction nearby; 15 miles. I have too much genetic diversity from group to group and within groups to market with contracts etc.
