Walnut Grove MN USA | Good friend of mine bought his mom and step dad’s place which was where he grew up, always wanted to live on the farm. This was just a building site no farmland involved. After a year he realized it was more work to maintain than he expected, partially due to medical issues. So he decided to sell. In the midst of selling he also got remarried. At the wedding his sisters attended but left immediately cause they were upset that he sold it. At the bar afterwards his brother had the decency to hang out with us but expressed his disappointment that it was being sold and wouldn’t be in the family anymore, kinda directed at me because I put buyer and seller together. I just said if it is so important to you or one of your sisters why didn’t you or them buy it. He just kinda hung his head and said yeah I guess so. They got over it. | |
