S IL | I won't have any problem retiring from farming it appears. But I almost feel selfish if I consider selling inherited ground especially the homeplace and grandma's house. Two previous generations busted their butts to allow me this opportunity. My personal life keeps me away from the farm except for part-time and no child to take it over. I could also just sell some and keep the houses with some ground nearby to rent, but I can tell I wouldn't miss because of lingering bad memories. I've got other things to do and living at the farm is not the best option. Sibling isn't interested in buying homeplace but shocked and upset I'd consider selling everything. | |
