Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | I understand the sentimental side of these questions but in the end, does it really matter? Let someone who wants it, possibly someone young and starting out have it to enjoy.
If we all kept our land forever we would be the reason our ancestors moved out of Europe. Real Estate was held by large landlords and the peasants had no way to ever get a piece of their own. We should not let the same thing happen here. Although it sure appears we may be headed that way.
Look at it as a business decision. Businesses come and go. Why not land? |
