Reads like the return on farmland is a lot better if the owner of the farmland sells the machinery...or never bought machinery in the first place, rented the land out, and got a parttime or fulltime job.
Admitting you are a sharecropper, working fulltime for way less than minimum wage for machinery and input suppliers is the first step to recovery.
