senorthdakota - 2/21/2024 23:29 Seems like Most land around here gets sold when the step up basis can get used unfortunately, that's when mom or dad pass away an the heirs get it an sell it... Some do sell and some don't. I've never figured out why anyone would sell land unless they are about to lose it. Why not rent it out and have money coming in every year along with a hedge against inflation? In the long run holding land just makes sense. |
