Why ruin soil structure when no benefits have been proven? We have some "hicks" in our area that still do it. Dries soil out too much in my area.
If we're going to resort to name calling here, how about calling those whom depend solely on spraying a host of herbicides with multiple resistance and drift issues and abhorring any kind of row cultivation "chemical junkies".
