Depending on soil, like ours it definitely added oxygen to the soil, stirred some nutrients up, and help water come up.
If I was going to invest at this point a 14 inch sweep with anhydrous knife going deep to act like a ripper for hard soil shatter. Cover crops in front and behind cultivating.
