Not too long ago, I actually had this conversation with a younger guy who's all in on bigger is better. He was saying how tough farming had been the last few years and that he just needed a few thousand more acres to make it all work. I suggested that maybe there's a reason the successful guys around him gave up the acres he now farms.
Response to lower prices… Produce more? Or cut back?
