We try to keep to the same program, in good times and in bad.
On a poor doer, we try to figure out the cause, fertility, drainage, waste ground ( waterways ect) and fix the problems.
The only time we cut back on feertilizer is after a way below average yield.
Soil test every 3-4 years and work on building the lowest areas, while maintaining the hig areas.
Every year we do learning blocks, including varieties, population and ams& urea.
Response to lower prices… Produce more? Or cut back?
