Is the teat sealant "hanging up" as a residue during first milking, then migrating to the meter, or is the sealant being shed at second and/or subsequent milking?

Maybe rinse with hot water or soap immediately at first milking.

Are second, third, fourth milking going through the meter?

Only dumping the first milking. I believe we are seeing some sealant being shed by the cows after the first milking. That is why my dealer wants me to use less sealant to see if we can reduce the amount being shed. But I never had a problem with any residue in my old system. But we are seeing sealant in the meters, receiver jars and the wash vat in my new system.

Water starts at 170 degrees, but is down to 120 by the end of wash cycle. Going to insulate the wash lines so that we don't lose as much temp.

Some other guys have suggested specialty soaps that are supposed to help. My dealer brought over something from Ecolabs, but it didn't do anything. But it wasn't one of the soaps that I am now hearing about: Brilliance from Boumatic, Solo from Ecolag and Remady from DeLaval.
