Subject: RE: Teat sealant causing problems with Boumatic Smartmeters

Memphis, NY
Is the teat sealant "hanging up" as a residue during first milking, then migrating to the meter, or is the sealant being shed at second and/or subsequent milking?

Maybe rinse with hot water or soap immediately at first milking.

Are second, third, fourth milking going through the meter?
