Subject: Buying used JD precision or take advantage of JD's offer?

Looking at getting started with automation on our farm. Currently running all JD equipment. My question is do we take advantage of John Deere's offer of the G5plus, 7500 globe and JD link for $2,000 and then pay the annual subscription of $2k for auto trac, section control and row sense? we do not have anything currently that would use the section control or row sense, but in the future we may. The equipment cost is what makes this appealing in my eyes. On one dealer site I did find that you can change or cancel licenses to fit your needs, ( I need to look into this). We farm around 500 acres in western Michigan. Any input is appreciated! Thanks
