UF still has their dairy operation going, with the school getting harder and harder to get into I don’t know how much longer they’ll make it a priority. As it is the college of agriculture and life Sciences which in decades past used to be the largest college at the institution is by far the smallest and least funded. To make matters worse UFs new president wants the acceptance rate to be below 10% to compete with UC Berkeley and Chapel Hill.

Point is Ag Programs at universities across the country are struggling right now. Mainly due to the rat race that is universities all competing for who has the best STEM program or getting AAU accreditation. SDSU is just the latest casualty.
