It's a chance to see some curricula and network with experienced parents from across the state. You might be able to get a feel for what kind of approach appeals to you.
I don't know your exact location, but I do know that the Hastings group is quite active and involved. The kids involved there are getting more social interactions than the public schools.
It's a LOT easier if you can find a good local support group. | |
