If you have a local welding shop with a ring roller, just have them make some rolls the diameter you want. You can make the feeder out of 1.25x1.25x.125 wall tubing and it will be very strong and you can still lift thye feeder if for some reason the loader is down and you need to use the 3 point carrier. 3 rings placed about 11 inches apart on the bottom and one on the top with 6 verticals placed around the inside of the ring. bend some holdups for the bottom and weld in place. Feeder will last for years and not be so bulky you cannot move by hand. I have several like this and have yet to do a repair in 6 years. My pattern ring is 40 years old and it is starting to give up so the design is sound and simple.
