Central OK | I was prone to acid reflux since my early teens. The number one trigger for me is tomatoes and I got along for awhile just avoiding them. Eventually it started getting bad again and I finally gave Johns approach a try. Cutting out the pop alone did wonders and a month of a low carb diet and I can even tolerate some tomato.
Plain water seems boring for a week but it grows on you. Reading about the long term effects of prilozec was enough to keep me off of it but I went through a lot of tums before the diet change. In my case its completely diet controllable and I'd bet for most people its the same. | |
