Barge box the sides go straight up and down. This makes it harder to unload as the corners hang up the corn.
Flare box the side goes up from the floor a couple foot and then out at a 45 degree angle, or so and then straight up again.
This makes the wagon the same width as the gate at the bottom, but allows the cubic foot for a bigger load at the top.
