southern MN
Dad wanted to get rid of the old grain truck, get 2 beater pickups and haul corn to the elevator with them. I could fill one pickup while he hauled the other. The elevator had a hoist yet back then.

We picked into barge boxes, unckle and dad had a wood flair as the 3rd box in case we slowed down unloading. No one liked the flair.

I got a pair of 200bu Parker gravity boxes, dad wondered what I wanted with those, we already had the truck and the barge box. Such fancy stuff no need for that.

The good old days.
