We used a longer hose to hook the hydraulic to the pto tractor.
My brother and grandpa would pull a wagon into position to dump. I had dug a little hole for the wheels to sit in.
They would pull the pin and I would hook them up to the empty wagon and they would head out.
The bad part of this was I was supposed to get the wagon empty and pull it out of the way by hand as the only tractor was hooked to the PTO.
When Dad got the 234 picker the elevator only stopped to switch wagons. We had extra wagons and when they were all full and waiting the other guys went to lunch. I had to stay and get the wagons empty., Usually about the time they cam back from lunch.
This was still a break for me as I got to use a tractor to pull the empties out!
Did I mention I didn't have a weight problem at that time?
