Subject: RE: Trimming neighbors trees

Chatham Ontario.
For me,a drainage ditch is meant for draining. I have no issue with trees at the top of the bank. The neighbor should not have any say in blocking the flow in the chanel. I have a farm that is in this situation. The worst part is, when the time comes for removal the township will want to do the work from my side and leave the mess and damage for me to clean up. These trees are at the back of some residential lots and they see no need for the trees to be cut. They will also be vocal against spending money on the drain because the trees were allowed to get so big.
Good luck.
