My current cheap Colgate has baking soda and peroxide.  I don't think the brand and type of toothpaste makes as
much a difference as a thorough brushing job, along with multi daily flossing, I just love these flossers that are available.
I am also a toothpick man.  My DIL is a dentist, and says I do a nice job.

PS to add, I also get a good deal on dental work.......... :)
