I have been low carb for some four years, and am currently on the high side of my optimum weight. I have found that for me the only way it kickstart a period of loss was to go on the Bacon, Beef, Butter and Eggs strategy. Once the pounds start to disappear, a more normal low Cal diet seems to continue the trend.
