Subject: RE: gout

Pittsburg, Kansas

I have not had a problem with gout (and hope I do not).

It is strange how some people can have problems with stuff that most people do not, indicating that we have to tailor what we eat to our personal needs. I'm thinking specifically about Mikhaila Peterson. She had to go to an all beef diet to put all of her ailments into remission. But the really odd thing about that is aged beef gives her problems. Somehow the aging of the meat creates something that gives her health problems.

Sounds like you have found out the hard way what does and does not work for you. That is good that you found a solution.

Edit: just thought of something. I used to have some occasional joint pain. Well actually pretty often. One particular joint I would really notice was my little finger outer most joint. It would get very sore to touch and if I bumped it would almost bring tears to my eyes. Don't know if that was gout (probably not), arthritis or what but it sure got sore. Other joints to a lesser degree but not nearly as noticeable. That is another pain that has went away and stayed away since diet change. I understand bad gout often manifests itself in the trunk of the body and is no fun at all.
