Had to wait until I had time to watch the video...interesting, but also proof you can always find somebody on youtube to tell you what you want to hear. And I have watched a lot of them, believe me. I don't know if you are a gout victim yourself, but in the last 5-6 years I have identified basically 3 things that will bring on a flareup, and an excess of red meat in a short period is absolutely one of them...the other 2 being shellfish and yes...beer...call me an old wife if you will, but I know my body, I've lived in it for 75 years now.
I am not obese or diabetic. Don't get me wrong, a carnivore diet would be the perfect situation. Burgers & steak, yep...there's a freezer full of it out in the garage.
Thanks for the link, it is food for thought, and Dr. Berry seems believable, unlike some of the youtube crackpots. The carbs situation I will admit is something I should probably work on.
