Nw Iowa | I agree to fact of late wet springs meaning not done planting till first week of July, corn doesn’t mature early enough, so drying in 15-20 degree temperatures, usually fight snow etc. It’s not the end of the world by any means and still get a crop but sure ages a person on those years. I also have to agree that us guys that expect 30 some inches every year have no idea what real drought really is. | |
