Claiming they are unable to come to an agreement through compromise is a good case for a bit of reflection. Our own societies have become so fragmented that we ourselves no longer compromise on any significant topic. A society that does not tolerate different opinions is not inclusive, even if there is an effort to claim it is. We have already been through several years of everything being done by emergency orders and force, not negotiations and compromise. The topic of this thread is another example. If Biden doesn’t get his way through negotiations will he invoke force to get his way anyways. We have also used some very coercive tactics to make other countries play by our rules. It definitely is possible that we are the threat that unites them.
