well, the majority here are right there with their hands out for insurance subsidies and disaster payments and income revenue payments and all kinds of free money for anything they want or need, everyone hates the govt. spending unless it is for them, farmers are the biggest pail calves of all whining for payments
I've never asked, expected, or wanted a Gov subsidy or payment of any kind. But I'll be damned if i have to bid rent, produce a crop and compete with neighbors that do take them if I don't. Get rid of them all and we lose a lot of young farmers when the first bade year hits. They have a place in my opinion. Just to much abuse.
