I was supposed to have a vitamin d 25 hydroxy test done my last blood test. But either the lab missed it or something because it is not on my test sheets. Now I wonder if I paid for it.............. oh well. I know the doctor put it on the script.

I'm not too worried about it. It takes a tremendous amount to become a problem. It is dose/time dependent. For example someone who is low a doctor might prescribe 40 or 50 thousand units a day for four or five days. If a person was taking that dosage for a month or two, it might become problematic. But that is ten times the amount I am taking. I have heard from several doctors they themselves are taking dosage similar to mine on a daily basis.

I have seen a 4k unit pill yield D levels of 3 x of ideal and well into the toxic range.
