Company A buys (for a dime)from farmer A, carbon that is hard to identify(see).
Company B is told by the government they produce too much carbon and need to buy credits to continue doing business.
Company B then approaches company A to buy their credits so they can comply with gov regs.
Company A sells credits for $10 each to company B.
Company B waves their carbon credit paper in the air to show everyone they are saving the environment because they have these carbon credits....
Oh, btw, Company A has a silent partner that is an elected official. | |
