Alberta | I am not a dairy farmer, but who do those who dump milk not just have a few pail bunters around to feed with the excess milk? Even dump it back into the feed ration would make sense instead of dumping it down the drain. Lots of fat and protein in the milk for a ration. Seems like free money. But then again this is a beef farmers perspective, and we would feed our animals potato chips and fryer fat if it is available | |
