NE SD | We have done it off and on over the years. Definitely had more trouble in wet conditions in no-till than worked ground. More-so when we had a planter with coulters. The wider the tire the better off you'll be. 710, 800 or a wide track.
Used to pull a 36r20 with a 9400 on 710s. Then went back to 30's behind a row crop 4wd. Now we plant corn in 30's behind an RX and the camso tracks leave a nice untouched area 6-8" wide in the center that a row lands on. I couldn't see any issues with it last year. Beans are primarily planted in 20" rows behind a fwa set up on 60" & 120". The second row out from center on each side goes under a tire and hasn't shown much issue. Would rather have 710s on that but it is what it is and triples are probably a better option currently. Lord knows it was wet here last year.
