NW central IL | The guys saying no harm, is this worked ground? Are you actually digging roots? I can find the quad culti tracks and don’t like that, I cant imagine what what planting str8 into some looks like.
I also guess it matter in what you call good, or no harm… I’d love to see 2 rows of 10 plants on and off the tracks roots when the corn is v3,v5, v6 to compare. Esp in worked ground, in our soils, I think it would be a eye opener.
Hell I can see the sxs tracked in bad years when scouting a field driving angled across the rows in worked ground… uneven corn costs money period, some years more then others. | |
