Nothing wrong with some of the gifting or other suggestions here...but some are probably not legal.

I started having far income when I was 6 years old, from the two ewes my Grandfather gave me to start a herd of sheep. Paid taxes every year since. So i guess I don't have a lot of sympathy for anyone wanting to simply avoid paying taxes when they do, in fact, have taxable income.

There were a few years during our subsequent faring career in the 1980's that we paid no tax at all. I'll take paying tax any day instead of that!

If you made money, pay the (hopefully reasonable of course) tax.
