I was thinking the soil web survey had best trees for different soils

but now I can't find where they have that hidden. NRCS office would probably have best trees for the area soil types. I know around here our soils are best for pin oaks and black walnuts. Can't get a white oak to take hold, but we'll have pin oaks and walnuts sprouting like weeds. And the weedy trees like soft maples, mulberry, and hackberry but we don't need any more of those.
